How we choose what to recommend
Every venue on this site earns its place the same way: it has to be somewhere we'd send a friend. We weigh first-hand visits, sustained local reputation, and the volume and consistency of guest reviews — then we cut anything that only looks good on paper. Listings are re-checked as seasons, menus and management change, and anything that slips gets pulled.
How we make money
Two ways: display advertising, and affiliate commissions when you book a hotel, tour or rental car through a partner link. The commission comes out of the partner's margin, never your price. Corrections
